The Pixelmator Team announced that Pixelmator 1.5 would be coming out something in the next some-odd weeks.

I’ll update this as my experiences grow.  Currently I have copies of:

Parallels Desktop 3.0
VMWare Fusion 2.0
VirtualBox 2.2

All of my experiences are from installing Windows XP Professional-32 bit.  All guests has the same settings.
