My laptop decided to die today…
I think it’s hard drive failure.  The hard drive started to act up and when I tried to repair it, it kept giving errors.
After formatting the drive and trying to reinstall, I started to get read and write errors.
Then the superDrive stopped reading CDs…
Now I’m sad…
I need to go to my emo corner.

    Damn. Have you tried copying down exactly what error messages are displayed and Googling them for help? :|

  2. We took it to the apple store, and the hard drive was fried. They’re repairing it, but I won’t have it for a week.
    The error messages were pretty generic, “Could not read from disk,” “Could not write to disk.” As for “Repair Disk,” there were far too many errors to google… It couldn’t read from the whole disk or write to the disk so there were quite a few errors.
