I tried to make some mochi daifuku today. It was an epic failure. I didn’t cover everything in enough corn starch and I didn’t prepare the dough properly. So the dough was too thin and some other things. With my patience and tolerence levels, I was able to make 3 mochi daifuku, so opefully those 3 were worth it.
Anyways, I’m going to try making some authentic filippino puto for a recipe to share this week, and possibly some poor man’s puto later on. If the mochi daifuku were good, I’ll share some pics, if not, we can all just imagine it didn’t happen ![]()
