Okay…
So I choose to use Ubuntu… Sadly, it’s the one that’s quick and meets my needs.
Not that it’s a bad distribution, but I don’t want to join the cult of Ubuntu1
So now I’m working on making it my own. I’m trying to modify as much as I can and make it look pleasing and be functional.
It was a debate between Debian, LinuxMint, Ubuntu, and Fedora. Fedora was too slow and bulky, Debian lacks some packages and support for things, and LinuxMint broke on me.
So Ubuntu has most of the packages I need (it becomes a pain when you have to compile thing after thing)…
So now I’m trying to modify the login screen, GNOME, and some other things.
I might attempt to modify the boot screen, but I’m not sure how I want it to look…
It’s also not on a laptop, so I’m not sure if changing that is worth it since I can’t show it off
