Yeah… Nothing really special going on this week so far…
But I did write another poem thing… I thought of it because all the parents who stayed a long time are finally leaving. And I think it’s odd that people always say “Good-Bye” when they leave crying and seem to be filled with regret of not doing something.

There’s no such thing as a Good-Bye
Her face, stained by tears,
She smiles to hide the pain
Of losing one so dear.

There’s no such thing as a Good-Bye
He smiles, and he waves.
He’s trying to hide the fear,
Of how his life will change.

There’s no such thing as a Good-Bye
I think to myself
There’s tears, fears, and pain.
So it must be something else.

  1. Nice poem! It goes along well with leaving parents.
